how did you make the 2nd gif down on your mulan tag? it's really lovely

ah, back when i actually made stuff.
okay, basically i melded four gifs together in one. the way i “blend” gifs is that i overlay frames on top of each other and adjust the opacity on each to get a nice fade. then i set certain layers on screen/lighten. but the main idea is to copy and paste “clips” on top of each other so some parts are overlapping. those overlapping areas must have their opacity adjusted evenly to get a nice fade.
i apologize, i’m bad at explaining things. if enough people are interested i’ll make a video tutorial. :D
hi do you have any favorite textures or tutorials that you use?
ummmmm. i try to not use textures because a) i don’t know how to use them and b) i don’t want my graphic to rely heavily on someone else’s work!
but when in doubt, i slap a film or a paper texture somewhere on the graphic. i found them on deviantart.com.
i don’t use tutorials, i just open up a document and LET THE FLOODGATES OPEN.
