i dislike it when people say if you don’t care about your follower count you don’t care about your followers 

i care about my followers very much and i usually never look at my follower count.

why? i see people complaining about unfollowers all the time and some take it personally. when people unfollow me it’s not like i’m “oh, well too bad 4 u!” because…in life there will be people who just enter and leave so why should tumblr be any different? i don’t hate unfollowers, we just have different interests…..so why should that person follow me if they don’t want to?

don’t let the amount of followers you have define you, it’s just a number that will fluctuate as time goes on. it’s who follows you that matters. i would rather have 100 followers that care than ten thousands that are just ~there~.

that being said, i do love and appreciate all my followers who stay. you guys are one of the main reasons why i post graphics and attempt to make pretty things. just because i don’t care about how many followers i have doesn’t mean i don’t care about the people who do!
