it was at that moment that i ~realized~ (for sure) 

i told my mom i was taking pictures with my friend tomorrow and she asked me: ooh, is she pretty?

and i answered….well….yes? i guess? i honestly don’t pay attention to whether or not my friends are “pretty” because they’re all beautiful to me and i would and do love them no matter what.

it was that moment that i realized i don’t choose models because they are physically beautiful (although that might be a coincidence), i choose them because i find them interesting and i’m drawn to them……of course, i’m a hypocrite and i will always love gingers and bright eyed people - but when it comes to choosing people to photograph? i will always choose their story over their physical appearance. because honestly, it sounds cheesy as ever, but everyone is beautiful in their own way - you just have to find it.
